Thanks, thats quite useful stuff to know! I admit to being a bit useless in the kitchen, but I'm trying my best to learn. Admitting iis the first step right!? I promised to cook a whole meal for my wife this weekend for the first time - very exciting! I found some simple recipe</A> at this site, seems to be designed exactly with people like me in mind, which is great! Anyway, thanks for your tips, I'll be sure to bookmark your site to read more.

I have another packing option I want to share by a new Bay Area company called KidsKonserve. In an effort to cut down on school waste and help get kids conserving, they've created some innovative waste free food containers and lunch kits. I especially like their stainless steel food containers which are available in a few sizes and can go in their lunch bag (recycled cotton, easy to wash, cute fabric) or in your child's current favorite. They also make a bento box style tiffin which is great for all ages to keep fresh for school or work. Check them out at www.kidskonserve.com.

Thank you for sharing your find. These look great and come in other sizes too - messenger, totes, and grocery. I like that they're made in the US and local (San Francisco specifically) for us here in the Bay Area too.

Best
