I am wondering how successful this planting was, and about how many living trees resulted. I am curious because I have tried to grow trees from seeds that I've gathered from many different local trees, including Black Walnut. I have not done well. The one thing I never thought of trying was...planting the seeds in the ground where I wanted the trees to be. Looks like it’s been at least a year since the Black Walnuts were planted.
